The Academy’s humble beginnings can be seen from its Tiny Tots Play School at Perundurai which began in 1999 when The Indraprastha Educational Trust, a pioneering vision led by Mr. R. Elango and Mrs. Umayavalle Elango, first conceived the idea and developed The Unique Academy into a reality in 2007, has truly taken shape to be a fully accredited ICSE school, a quest riddled with obstacles and barriers, but our vision to have an ICSE school which stems from the very desire of our hearts has truly culminated in the school receiving its affiliation from the CISCE, New Delhi only one of its kind in the districts of Erode, Tiruppur, Namakkal and Dharmapuri.

In a span of ten years, The Unique Academy has widened its scope, changed the conventional norms of teaching and brought about a truly integrated system of learning. It has remained true to its core strength - teachers, who inspire students to innovate and adapt in the fast changing world of today.

The school is home to around 230 students. It offers a global education system, academic excellence, positive social values, creative freedom and self discovery, that equips every student with necessary skill sets to take ones place anywhere in the world. What makes that possible is our trained faculty who employ teaching methods that urge the students to question the conventional, challenge theories, validate hypotheses and employ analytical reasoning.

At the Academy, students have exposure beyond books and academia. Hikes, school excursions, creative and performing arts, sports and games, work exposure and social awareness activities are all part of a holistic education that enables students to develop into confident, poised, young adults who are equipped and ready to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and demanding world.
